Milk and Horlicks/complan/bournvita
Its a challenge getting my younger one to drink milk. Have tried it with the additives above but nothing seems to work. What do you recommend Dr. How critical is having milk for a 6 year old? more

Magic is 'Mother Dairy' Flavored milk, I recently discovered this when nothing worked. I missed to mention about this in above post. It comes in 2 flavors 'Chocolate' and 'Kesar Elaichi'. you will be amazed to see kids response to it. It comes in a packet and bottle (250 ml). Bring a pack of 10 and keep in kitchen where child can see it easily. He will consume 4 to 6 in a day. That is 1/1.5 ltr. Don't ever offer them this, let them take on their own and enjoy. Infact tell them it is very costly don't consume too much, then they will ask for more. Don't give them this milk in glass. kids luv to have it in a packet with straw or bottle directly. Most important--> When you will go to buy this milk, most of the mother diaries give the expired packet. Tried with 3 different mother diary shops. Always check the date first before buying. It is good for 6 days from packaging. Costs 17 per packet of 250ml. Please buy and do write back your kids response to this formula:) more

Just to share my learning, may be helpful. My son is 10 years old. Till 9 he was drinking milk, last winter he was having minor cough, I gave him Coffee/Tea for 3 days. After then he stopped taking milk and showing interest in coffee and tea. Never offer them tea/coffee etc. more

I face the same challenge with my 2 yr old kid. I try alternative forms like curd etc. Would really be happy if we moms get a magic wand to make it work :) more
