I find that stored Aavin flavoured milk sold in cartons stays fresh and can be refrigerated when needed. They are good for 180 days from date of manufacture and the flavours like cardamom, kesar and chocolate are popular. Saves us the trouble of running to the kitchen to prepare tea or coffee for unexpected guests and a welcome drink to harried gas cylinder mechanics etc. especially in Chennai's sizzling summer. Makes for a refreshing drink when we come home from shopping on a warm afternoon. Of course, lime juice and Nannari syrup are also favourites. L.Kalavathi Retd.
