Is it not the responsibility of the bankers to inform their customers about this new service? more  
Good, if true. But the banks should not charge for the SMS or at the most charge normal SMS charges. If net connected, there should be no charges. In these cashless days, it will be good if a similar coding and messaging can result in making small payments to the small vendors at vary nominal SMS charges and no charges if internet is used.
