Minimizing Heinous Crimes on Trains

Some years back a friend in UP was made to consume lots of alcohol and while he was asleep in his seat, dragged and thrown away. No one came to know till next morning when his family didn't find him in train. No one was found guilty and charged with murder.

What measures has Railways taken so that such crimes dont take place in trains and if they do, there is a way to get justice because there is evidence. What can RPF, GRP, CCTVs, attendant, TTE, guard should be doing to prevent this? more

Every passenger should be alert on their own. If they suspect anything fishy, railways have introduced many measures for reporting which should be utilized. Railways should display these measures in every coach so that travellers come to know of it. more
Consumption of Alcohol with RPF knowledge, it is the influential people who indulge in such practices. Many times people use COLA bottle with Alcohal added. more
The first and foremost task is to issue certificate of completion of the residential societies so that the residents get their flats registered. The Govt. will also get a good amount of money and at the same time each individual owner of the flats can get their electricity meter installed as per his requirement and the monopoly of some of the society also improves. The dada giri of some of the committee members in charging(by reselling the bulk supply of electrical energy at exorbitant price is arrested. The supply co, has failed to act on the issue so far.
