MINISTER ON THE HEELS OF WHAT HE PROMISED :

Yes , our grievances are being heard and slowly redressed . It is definitely a Herculean task to change the Century and half old system . Any way we see a beginning in the revamp with the Board chairman replaced and new hopes infused and work culture introduced . More than all, expecting performance and results to justify the job requirement .

The most praiseworthy of our suggestions being taken up :

* Inform passengers of the train delay .
#This should reach the passengers as quickly as possible , so that they can evolve alternate options.

* Welcome gesture of hospitality to provide food if the train delays beyond food time . Good hospitality culture from Airlines .
#Like wise may also extend hospitality to stay if delay is beyond safe hours and missed connecting trains .

* No more fooling around by the catering staff with M.R.P.as they are to be provided with hand held devices.
# Should also make sure that Contractors pay them adequately .

* And to put an end to the hygiene complaints with installation of CCTV Cameras.

THIS IS JUST THE WELCOME BEGINNING . NOW PERSISTENCE IS THE KEY . - We are with you Mr. Minister . more

Hon'ble Union Rly Minister Sir, I am drawing your kind attention towards recent changes in IRCTC reserve ticket booking app changes. I have booked a ticket today the 3rd July2018. Once the ticket is booked, there use to be an option to get a print of the ticket simultaneously reserve ticket confirmation came automatically to the registered mobile . Now it asks an option for "send to mobile" option. The print is even more cumbersome. Kindly ask the concerning authority to switch the new system to old one so that ticketing and mobile confirmation should be simultaneous as before and the ticket may be printed as it used to be earlier.Present system is going towards specialization rather commercialization. Kindly make it as easy for persons like 70+ senior citizens like me. Regards, Bishwanath das more
Delays in trains causing so much pain for passengers.Every thing gets re-scheduled.IR must understand the importance time of common man..They give importance to their time then why they cannot improve the timely services of trains. more
Good works of any one should always and by all be appreciated, which infuse renewed energy and determination among the work forces. more
The steps, if implemented will be appreciated by the public. But I have doubt. Is the Railway going to provide food for the delay of trains ????????????? more
