Mis use of Staff

It is not railway staff alone. Be it military or police or any other Govt Dept Senior post Officers and Secretary etc.
Every where if you dig it out you will have lots hidden details to come to light.
The entire bureaucratic set up is so grown and spoiled under congress that new govt will find tough to remove because of retaliation and unionism more

in judiciary I have seen a district judge is having seven class 4 at his home. Two for cooking; one for bringing vegetable from market; one for taking children to school; one for cloth washing; one for cleaning home and next is for guarding. Apart from this 4- 6 body guard; two driver - one for self and other for wife. more

Very true! Also, every senior government servants have drivers and I don't know why and also given Government vehicles for their personal use. In most countries such perquisites are not allowed at all. Looks like that if these expenses are saved or avoided, all the people in the country can be provided with good toilets, medical facilities for disease prevention, sports facilities in every neighbour-hood etc. A few thousand crores of rupees can be generated. more
