Misleading ads for children during IPL
The Govt is discussing advertisement code against misleading ads yet brands are so fearless that they keep pushing dangerous ads like thumsup during IPL. Celebrities like Ranveer Singh are highly irresponsible to send a message that one can jump from any heights and climb mountains. What if a child in his own family attempts that. Will Ranveer be responsible for their demise or hurt.
If the govt cant control misleading ads it should just make a requirement for an ad censor board creation which can say these ads can only be run after 11 pm.
Also do look at the size of disclaimers. Its designed so no one can read or hear it. more

There should be censor on advertisements. What is not Good in General or for kids should be totally banned. more

The comments made by Shri Rajeev Bhargava is a sweeping statement but not taking any clue from there, the need for a censor board for advertisement has become a necessity. I appreciate the point raised by Ms Sikha Jain and hope the Govt takes steps to form a censor board for the purpose. more
