Misleading and objectionable advertisements by teleshopping companies
Dear Members, As everyone must be watching, agreed and feeling frustrated about msileading and objectionable advertisements aired by all TV Channels. Based on recommendation of ASCI after upholding the complaints, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued advisories to all TV Channels on 21st August 2014 stating that "Now, therefore, all TV channels are hereby advised not to carry the said advertisements as per Annexure 1, henceforth in their respective channels and to ensure strict compliance of the aforesaid Rules & Advertisement codes.
However, the implementation is best to be ensured by we citizens. It is our responsibility to bring out any violation to the notice of the authorities. I am willing to offer my self to consolidate the feedback if desired by the members else they may send their complaints to ASCI. more

There have been more instances in news papers as well. Most of them are misleading and fooling people of their hard earned money by one or the other way- Builders, Medicines, Earning more interest, etc. etc where every common person/reader has lost some thing in one or the other way. Some newspaper , as a eye wash, put small insertion to say that they are not responsible of the correctness??????? more
