Missed calls Scam- from unknown numbers starting with +371... - Can we jointly do something?
There is a missed calls scam, from numbers +37128083108, +37125020266... they give you call and hangup so quickly
that you can't answer the call in time.
When you call back, you are redirected to a premium rate service.
Never call them back if you do so, you will be charged a lot of money per minute.
They give missed calls anytime even around 9.30pm or early morning around 5.00am, which is so annoying.
Can we with the help of consumer forum jointly do something about it?
It is not a problem specific to a particular service provider Airtel or Aircel. It is happening with almost all subscribers.
I use Airtel Number. If you need, I can take picture of Missed calls log from my mobile and share here.
People have posted about this scam on internet on various sites, but nothing is happening.

I guess this has been happening from quite a long time in India. I got similar calls long time ago from different numbers n was aware of this missed call scam. Now I have an app on my android called true caller that usually sends me the name or location of the unknown callers. more

Thanks Ma'm, I will do that, I was looking for other people who are getting these calls, so that the case can be strong. But looks like noone is getting these calls, as I haven't recvd any response on this. or may be they don't want to report such issues. I will wait for responses. more
