Misuse of Blankets in Duronto/Superfast Trains
Railways are doing their best to provide better passenger amenities e.g. blankets, pillows etc. in some Duronto/Superfast trains and it is their duty to maintain cleanliness in them. But what about passengers? It is found that passengers whose reservation does not get confirmed, use the blankets rampantly to sleep on the train floor, near the train doors & so on. The attendants are helplessly watching this. Can we expect more discipline from our fellow passengers? Can they be better educated in this respect? more

The only way out is if those without reservation as accommodated in a chair only coach till their reservation is confirmed and not allotted blankets till they get confirmed reservation. more

Not sure how is it possible. Probably this is one train where unauthorized ticket holders cannot travel. more

Does the Duronto or any other train, for that matter, carry those many extra blankets? And if they do, does the staff distribute them to people who do not have a berth? I don't think so! more

In Duranto Trains people who are wait listed are not allowed to enter the train so people dont sleep on floors. more
