Misuse of new criminal law can cause havoc for business owners/small companies
New criminal laws come into effect from today. Here is one new law to be concerned about: ‘individuals who engage in sexual relations by deceit, such as false promises of employment or marriage without intention to fulfill them, could face imprisonment of up to 10 years, accompanied by fines’. Think about the huge scope for misuse of such a law and what it might do to criminalise even consensual relationships. How are such laws allowed to be passed without proper scrutiny/debate? more

also the fact that every law will be misused. No rocket science here. That's why lawyers are thriving.. so any statute will need to be looked at from the larger perspective and picture. generally most of the legal community has welcomed the new laws.Ofcourse, police need to be retarined in thees aspects for implementation of the new laws.. more

Unless documented or videographed, it all depends on the evidence and argument being heard in courts. Law is simply said excellent. It all depends on the lawyers too. more
