Mob Violence solutions

Yesterday the Attorney General of India raised concern in Supreme Court about mob violence (recently in light of Kawariyas, hate speech, etc. He talked about fixing responsibility on SP of each district in the country. However his prescription seems to overlook the political bosses who are complicit by their silence & inaction.

Can we please discuss in this circle and find solutions. I think the responsibility needs to be fixed at the DM-MLA-MP levels instead of SP. more

I fully endorse Mr Ashim Choudhury' s views. more
I agree that instead of the Administrative and Law Enforcement authorities, MLAs/MPs and the people calling for such agitations should be held accountable. The reality here in our country is that these people always remain behind scenes and never come to light and also go scot free. more
Fully agree with you. Administration/Police have become pawns in the hand of politicians. more
Correct. They are shielded under Political Power as well as of Mass . more
Most of the Mob violences are sponsored by Disgruntled Politicians - and mostly Congress and their ilk - They needed to be studied and preventive steps tobe taken more
All local political leaders must be IMMEDIATELY put behind bars irrespective of which party they belong to. Let the Civil Admin take charge and sort out the matter. The police must fire below the knees so that the person is incapacitated but not killed. (Unfortunately, our policemen are not very good marksmen). A few knocks below the knee and the situation will come under control. But this has to be done ruthlessly without giving the miscreants a chance to collect too much support in numbers. more
Solution is simple. Those scoundrels indulging in violence and damaging public / private assets BE KILLED ON SIGHT RUTHLESSLY. Their political/police masters be thrown behind the bars (without any court case) for at least 25 to 30 years. All damages be recovered from the family members of those anti-social/anti-nationals killed. This is what the Govt must do. Why every now and then go to Supreme Court? If the Govt is incapable of taking any ruthless action then they be booted out. You never talk to street thugs. Just make them disappear. more
