I have bitter experience with Mobile Service providers like Airtel, Idea, Aircel. Both Airtel and Idea service providers after giving Internet package (it is always for 28 days or less) in prepaid connection, they do not give availability of amount in the package. Since the customers have no knowledge about closing net connection frequently or forget to close the net connection, not only net package amount is depleted but also swallows the main account top up account (in prepaid connections). They do not stop with that. When we ring a call they say that we do not have account balance and they are ready to give a loan of Rs/10/- or Rs.20/- and if we accept any one due to urgency in contacting, the service providers charge 12/- or 24/- when we top up next time. Thus I have spent several hundreds within a period of six months wastefully. The TRAI must check this and make them to send the intimation SMS as soon as net package amount is exhausted. more
It is necessary to raise the issue with Service Providers in order to built-up the pressure, let the compliant be registered on their web-site. Further, the only way is to raise the issue collectively with TRAI about these malpractices and loot of customers. This mainly happens in case of DATA users as there are many bindings on Service Providers in case of mobile calls services. more
The entire system is rigged to fleece customers since we act as individuals... The best option is o collectively raise the issue and then complain to TRAI about these malpractices. The only way is to have increased competition by having more No of service providers. The government has a long list /chain of people placed in high positions for public good who apart from job security, assured career progression , medical facilities for all dependants and pension for life have failed to respond at any stage. On the other hand a person with fewer perks and greater risk on loosing his job is constantly working to safe guard his job by sticking to company policy of maximising profit. This is the root of all causes. The government bureaucracy is indifferent to the cause of people due to severe unaccountability or scope of punishment for dereliction of duty. Change this and you get accountability from those who are supposed to serve Our best brains are fleeing from this country for better avenues of growth. how do we prevent our future to run to other land. Our issues which affect the common people need to be highlighted.... more
These are all cheap tactics because there is no one to check their credibility. TRAI is simply waiting for someone to complain. They do not move and have no supervision control. Only God can help the mankind from these private players, who are day time robbers. more
