Modes of collecting evidence of the act of corruption
Corruption can be combated by taking steps such as the following:
(1) Empower and enable ACBs to do as follows ensuring against their resorting themselves to their corruption themselves:
Make available to all interested an App. by using which the act of demanding and negotiating for an taking of bribes gets videographed and the video is automatically transmitted to Computer in ACB. The same process can be made use to take and transmit videos of spending on occasions of celebration like marriages, birthdays, festivals, admitting children to expensive schools or colleges;
Provide access to ACB to Records of Title in Sub-Registrar’s Offices where the bribe money is used to acquire properties in their own names or benami with the names of the potential bribe-takers’ kith and kin pre-recorded, thereby enabling ACB to launch investigation as to whether the cost of the properties exceeds the income of the suspected bribe-taker from legal and publicly known sources of income.
(2) Whistle-blowers’ Act may be passed and made operational whereby not only is protection given to whistle-blower and not doing whistle blowing despite having knowledge of the corruption being perpetrated. more

Mr Sastry's suggestions are good. But he has to remember that collecting evidence is a risky business. Which bribe taker will allow me to record conversation on my phone? Which corrupt school manager or businessman will allow me to videograph a function in his house? The ACB has protection under the law, and technological help in the form of equipment for eaves-dropping. No App can replace these. The app will transfer the work and the risk both to the complainant. more

Need of the hour - (1) scrap existing constitution which is completely outdated, ineffective, spineless as it was authored by people with ZERO foresight and lack of commonsense. (2) Indian democracy - which is a mockery and has become a very handy tool for crooks. Since independence, it has served only shameless and corrupt politicians of the country. more

In case the ACB itself indulge in similar activities by failing in their Duties and responsibilities in addition with the Hands in Gloves with the Culprits to safeguard the wasted interests - WHAT IS THE REMEDY ???? In a given case the Very Complaint and the valid vital documentary proof was handed over after couple of years sitting on the same to the RTO - against whom the very complaint was lodged. Over and above instead off investigation - it was stated in the High Court that even after FIVE plus years - the investigation is still on. The Height is - after the High Court verdict - NO CONCRETE DEVELOPMENTS IN THE INVESTIGATION - even after lapse of several months. Same is the case of Complaint against the Leading Co-op Bank personnel's. The reason may be hidden in the ACB itself as the Officers are sidelined to this branch to have promotion / transfer to other lucrative posts, well knowing that they are also the part and partial of the System and if they help today - tomorrow will be helpful to them also - when they will be away from ACB. The glance at latest statistics also speaks - wherein out of total conviction rates - if analysed - the BIG fishes ( of Crors of Rupees scams) are speared by keeping some loopholes in the prosecution &/or evidences at the same time cases of minor in nature are getting convicted as the accused is just a victim of poor conditions and can not afford to contest his case. These cases increase the Ratio - whereas factually the real picture may be different. No matter there are few exceptions - only because of whom ACB is in existence. ANY SUGGESTIONS??????? more
