MODIFY PROCEDURE FOR FILING FIR
Every day one reads in news papers the difficulties faced by victims of a crime in filing FIRs at Police Stations throughout the country. The reasons for refusing to file a FIR could be many. Therefore the time has come to introduce a new procedure for filing of FIR. People should approach the Commissioner of Police instead of going to Police Station, as in large number of cases FIRs are filed at the instructions of Senior Police Officers. Another alternative would be to approach a Court for filing of FIR. FIR would be filed at the instructions of the Court.
Now that we are talking of DIGITAL INDIA, may be Central and State Governments should introduce E-Filing of FIRs with required Software in place. more

The best way is to facilitate e-filing with id like AADHAR Card and email, take system generated acknowledgement and the complaint gets lodged and logged more
Let us educate the people on police complaints and FIR in the modern age. [1]These constitute a clear reference about family links for any person related and applying for job or such. [2]an FIR can not be trashed away by police or individual, and it has to go to the magistrate, even in the case of a mutual settlement. [3]The modern police needs ways to find about individuals details for passport, visa, and other such and these will be provided in the police verification report[or police clearance certificate]needed by many countries for immigration. more
@Mr. Jayarama, There is a Police Complaint Authority wherein you can complain against police. However, once I sought the RTI information and could make out it is hardly effective. The prime reason being we citizens do not use the system and thus it remains ineffective. more
One fine morning ....I thought why some sensitive ""BRIBE PARADISE""" offices are not yet made Camera Surveillance ??????????? The question arose only I paid for a NAKAL in a court:: Don't you pay in exigencies is another issue. I example site ..Court Offices (NOT JUDGE'S COURT),,, State Govt. PWD / Irrigation kind of offices,,, Revenue Offices,,,, ITO, Sales Tax etc...and so on... The Govt. is also in search of solution to bring about new laws & Acts , to repeal unwanted Act / provisions etc. The floated issue is an important and burning question before the society... the FIR is a link between executive and judiciary... Idea of filing E- FIR shall be only a Mode to register your complaint. The main issue is as how far the Police is concerned and takes timely & immediate action on it, is the concern. IF SHO SAYS YOUR e FIR is filed and you may take a copy from us else by downloading from the site by your own. IS THIS SUFFICE ?????? Friends.......... Every Police Station is bring Overseen by CJM / JMFCs they may be given an statutory responsibilities if any FIR is not being entertained by the concerned Police station they may acknowledge the same and the matter should go between them. Such acknowledged copy should carry the same weight age as FIR at the same time the complainant shall be held responsible as happens in case of routine FIR. more
In some state like U. P., There is provision of e filling of FIR, but practically no FIR registered automatically. Ist that FIR will sent to concerned Supd Od Police & forwarded to Dy S.P. of the area to make Preliminery enquiry. The entire process is time taking & even nthan there is no gaurntee to lodge the FIR. FIR lodged after court order always seen suspecious by Police Authorities, normally final report submitted in these matters. more
