Molestation in Delhi - Inputs Needed
All citizens are requested to report any cases of molestation experienced by them, family, friends, staff in Delhi and identify the respective area where it took place.
With your inputs, we will be able to get a more effective insight into where such crimes (reported or unreported) are happening in the city.
You are also welcome to submit a new Anonymous post if you choose to not identify yourself in the circle.
Per the study by our Crime Branch, the top cases for molestation so far this year have been reported in Vasant Vihar (50), Mehrauli (32), Dabari (31) Bindapur (30), Malviya Nagar (26).
For everyone's reference, molestation is defined as:
1) to annoy, disturb or persecute especially with hostile intent or injurious effect
2) to make annoying sexual advances to force physical and usually sexual contact.
3) it also applies to incest by a relative with a minor family member, and any unwanted sexual acts with adults short of rape.

Well, the main reason of increase in crime...Corrupt & Inefficient Police Force... Police Force has to be Well Trained, Well Dressed, Well Behaved and self-motivated & Honest to take care of their 'Area of Responsibility' ... 100% Blame is on Policing the Area...I would like to see ONE Case of Crime in well-manged Police Stations.... Since, most of the Local Leaders are themselves Corrupt Mafia/Criminals...Police is generally busy serving their them like private servants...ever since... Who Cares for Genera Public ??? more

A suggestion there should be a lady cop in patrolling pcr. In Germany I have seen that a man and a female cop is always together. Same time I request our Govt. to give the police the best arms to fight the miscreants. In fact all cops should get a bullet proof jacket and a pistol. more

A lot of changes have to be brought into the Delhi Police Staff. Like their behaviour which should be friendly, way of talking to public, they should be corrupt free, should respect elderly, ladies & kids. In short they should be friends to public so that a girl can walk down to them and speak out the problem. In general people always say that one should avoid the police. That's because most people have lost the trust on Police. 60% cases don't get registered because they feel nothing is going to happen. more

Poor Law and order in Tughalakabad Extension I would like to draw the major attention of police department to focus on this area. Tughalabad extension itself is a crime place for many criminals due to the free deserted land available inside the Tughalabad Extension. and surrounding by dense forest like jahanpan park and picknic hut and other parks available here. The population residing here is 10 lakh people here a popuation with a total of singapore australia, newzealand here. but none of police station is available. The area comes under sangam vihar constituency but the police station comes under Govindpuri earlier it was okhla. i think the system should be centralized and not a single check post but the check post must be distributed around these isolated area. The area must have its own police station without incfluence of criminals and political source. The present system of filing complaint is dangerous to a person against these criminals here who are working under influence of big mafia. more
