momentary black out while standing up-
My daughter aged 12 yrs is sometimes complaining of sudden blackout , ie she feels momentary loss of sight. She has observed this usually happening when suddenly getting up from sitting posture.
Who must be consulted to diagnose and treat. Are there any treatment history for this. more

Reply to Shri K. Ramesh: Kindly check up whether she suffers from low blood pressure, hypo-glycaemia or anemia. Kindly consult a good Ayurvedic doctor or homoeopath. Please ensure that your daughter has a proper intake of nourishing food, particularly if she has entered puberty. Also kindly rule out any food allergies. I have also experienced slight giddiness while getting up from a seated posture, while I was 7-8 years old. It could be a vitamin deficiency also or lack of essential nutrients or even dehydration. This is due to lack of iron. Let her eat green-leafy vegetables and apple. Also, ensure proper water intake. more
