monkey menace

Hi all am new here so sorry if this is an old discussion. I live in DLF phase 1 and our area is facing a serious monkey menace. I have small kids and it's scary. Who can we call to have them driven out of this area? more

Pl contact the gurgaon municipal commissioner for help. Tell children not to chid them as they get angry. more

pl.write a petition to ASP regarding your problem,& a copy must be forwarded to CM more

Only way out is STOP feeding them. Automatically they will move out of the area. more

I also face the challenge almost every other day. The biggest reason for their presence is the monkeys being fed by people due to the religious beliefs, feeding hungry animals, etc. - I have requested many people to avoid feeding them but I am not sure it works in all cases. Complaints to RWA and DLF authorities has not really shown much results - if enough people complain, it might help. Langoors are no more allowed to be used. I resort to using Diwali crackers - I do not burst them otherwise for festivals, etc. I also play langoor sounds loudly through my laptop to try and scare them. more
