Monkeypox is serious - Lockdowns may be needed globally

Monkeypox in KIDS is just not just like your common COVID or even ‘flu.

They are now in the high risk group for severe disease and are amongst the more vulnerable. Must watch attached from WHO.

Important to understand transmission - how kids get it and to plan how to protect them.

School closures, ventilation, masks and soon lockdowns may be needed. more

Then, why are 98% of its victims belonging to a "particular group"? What sort of air do they inhale?? more
Government needs to make the vaccine MVA is available. A separate ward or sanitarium is set up in each big city to treat the infected and TPOXX is made available. The origin is from Africa where it is endemic. Mask and sanitiser is not a bad idea as COVID is still here . Each time you catch it it kills a few grey cells and effects your joints . Stay safe . Learn prevention is better than a cure . Stop it now . more
TPOXX antiviral is effective for treatment. It is transmitted by unprotected Male Gay partner. They are being vaccinated first . Advice: Refrain, alert , and seek medical help ASAP if you are Gay . Once infected they can spread it by prolonged skin contact to children or others in their contact. Schools need to monitor very carefully. Like HIV it can spread throughout the world. It is not only their problem but will become ours too as can enter our homes through staff , family members, friends. more
Monkeypox affects only a "particular segment" of people. Why should others be bothered? Why did the WHO's own committee vote against declaring it as a global emergency? This isn't a respiratory disease (everyone knows how it spreads and amongst whom it has spread). What is the logic of locking down? Please use your own brains for once.. more
Read up man. Monkeypox is transmission through air more
The guide lines about 'how to deal with this threat I.C.M.R. are still awaited. These should be issued at the earliest. more
I agree with Mr. Bhagwat. ICMR should issue advisory on Monkeypox to best of its knowledge and update it regularly till the virus gets fully under control. more
As if they know anything about it.. more
