In 2016, Jio phone bill used to cost 0. And, people celebrated including my Dad.
Over the years, Jio kept increasing prices (40% hike in 2019, 21% hike last year).
And, now people pay A LOT on phone bills.

To grab clients, one has to offer free trials or lower rates. But offering free services by a giant for months and years is to kill small players in the business. This is what Jio has done. Many MNCs also resort to this type of dirty business tactics. Govt. should remain vigilant to such mal practices otherwise big sharks will create monopoly in all sectors. There should be level field for all so that interest of consumers is protected. more

Please know what is the meaning of monopoly. It us not a game. JIO does not have a monopoly. More competition now since they entered the field. Yes prices have increased but you have a choice. more

Lol, such a stupid post. Just compare JIO prices with other telecom providers. Also, remember the days wherein you used to pay based ₹300+ for 2 GB and above data. Now you get unltd. data, thanks to JIO. Show some gratitude instead of criticizing. more
