Monopoly everywhere, RIP competition commission

Newsreports are saying Jio and Airtel are likely to withdraw their unlimited 5G data plans for premium customers and charge at least 5-10% more for 5G services compared to 4G from the second half of 2024.

Airlines are same story Indigo & Air India-Vistara.

CCI the competition commission is a failed organisation and has dark goggles on through which they cant see carteling that happens in broad day light.

The commissions are only for commission. Even IRDAI has been constituted for insurance companies and their Agents. Many IRDAI members are ex employees of insurance companies and bankers. They just stamp the policy proposed by the insurance companies. Many such members have rented out their Commercial and residential buildings to the insurance companies. Wrong insurance policies and misspelling are at its peak. For selling JEEVAN SHANTI policy a matric pass agent gets a commission of 25%. If a client buys a policy for Rs.10.00 lac, the agent gets Rs.2.5 lac whereas a well qualified Professional does not get this much of amount even after working for 1 month. The policy holder gets receipt for Rs.10.00 lac which is a fraud. There is total loot going on in Insurance business (dacoity). more
Most of you do not realize that Indian government tax on mobile services is at the highest level in the world. The companies pass that on to consumers. This is the one thing Indian government can do to help consumers by lovering those taxes. Commission can demand that amount should be given back in the lower rates to the customers. more
