Morality in India has indeed come down. No one can enforce morality but it comes from traditional values passed through the generations. With nuclear families & parents pursuing careers, they have little or no time to speak to the young and inquisitive minds. The younger lot gets to know about the various things from the service providers, ayahs, television network etc.
Schools do not have classes imparting moral values as well. The young children and the youth are getting misguided and act in anything giving them pleasure.
We, as adults, are also not giving good example by indulging in falsehood and indulging/ facilitating corrupt practices.
A good atmosphere can be created and a good beginning be made if we at least praise honest leaders/ politicians for their principles, in presence of the children.
Children tend to idolize their parents and this may have a lasting impact. more

There was a time a mother used to say that "do not do this' and "do not do that" otherwise you will get bad name but now parents have become so much dependent on children that they do not guide their children and further at that time it was JOINT family, which has been converted into a single or sometimes dual child i.e. nucleus family and we are seeing morality going down the hill, the rot started since THE GREAT ECONOMIC REFORMS. more
If BJP wants to prosper & live in peace , party will have to dump this ADVANI thing in KARACHI sea . Who can imagine that a man at 87 who should be readying to go to ALLAH , should aspire to be PM . In this age he should spend most of his time either sleeping or chanting NaMo NaMo. He seldom understand the multifarious problems of this multi lingual , multi cultural , multi religious , multi ethnic country whose economy today stands totally shattered b SONIA MANMOHAN duo . You should pray GOD to give peace to ADVANI's restless soul . more
I agree with the views. Younger generation needs to be guided in right direction. Apart from elders the role of govt.having able, right thinking leader is needed for true implementation of policies for good of the people. Saying is yatha raja tatha praja. In present scenario Modi is best bet to lead country.Vote for him. ------------------------------ On Fri 21 Mar, 2014 2:37 PM IST Sanjay Gupta wrote: > more
