More ways to corner citizens
CM Amarinder Singh says "Cabinet today decided on amendments to IPC to make sacrilege of all religious texts punishable with life imprisonment. We will place the Bill in the Vidhan Sabha for approval. I stand firmly committed to preserve communal harmony in the State." Really - do we really needs this. Isnt this more ways to corner citizens, harrassment, corruption. can we focus on real issues? more

This law should be consigned to dustbin. It will be fully exploited by powerful and notorious people to pin down their opponents. Sacrilege is not a big issue and can be tackled with the existing laws. The sacrilege is the handiwork of anti social elements to foment trouble on one or the other issue. The police and courts will remain busy in such solving and deciding such frivolous matters. more

Our Main issue is we are not united. Politicians divided us in Religious base and then after in cast base. more

None of the party wish to redress the real issues.They are int in their vote bank politics and turn the policies in their favour every time. They still have to implement 7 the pay commission.Our neighbour haryana is far better to implement is sooner than us.But our coffers are empty.Employees starting their career in the Punjab govt are forced to take lesser salaries for initial three years (basic pay).They must look into these kind of issues also. more
