Failed to understand in which regime we are living? There is no law & order to discipline such businessman who are playing with the lives of human beings. It's so sad. Govt. talks about good governance, is it an indicator? It appears there is a dire need to change the lawmakers only. Such incompetency may not be a gesture to public. more
FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority) should collect the samples. For example, FSSAI cancels the license of Baba Biryani outlets over food safety in Kanpur(U.P.). more
When governments (centre and states) of a nation run targetting their vote banks and follow an unhealthy practice of appeasing those who are engaged in different areas of criminal activities including adulteration food products with closed eyes, we, the common people have no choice but to slow poison through adulterated foods. Otherwise, there are no reasons that the government machinery are unaware of large scale adulteration of almost all food products despite having their independent food department with huge staff strength. Our country needs a political and social revolution to fix all odds. Till then we will have to continue with our sufferings. more
Yes The factor has to be verified every week. Legal metrology labs, and testing centers based on population. Who will tell these politicians more
Such adulteration in food ingredients perhaps become a standard practice now. No one is really very serious to inspect the quality. FSSAI has set standards but no strong monitoring mechanism is in practice, So why to expect something better than this? Besides, imposition of tax unusually spiked the price and unhealthy practices started to keep the price low so people will buy. So far Govt. is not seriously thinking to stabilise the price of essential commodities till then no hope to have a good time. more
