Thus I will be driving odd-even alternately whereas she will be driving odd no car on all even dates and even no car on all odd dates i.e violations on all dates. In Delhi, most of the working couples have individual cars. I AM WRITING THIS INSPITE OF KNOWING THAT I MAY MANIPULATE ALL DATES WITHOUT ANY DISCOMFORT IF WOMEN ARE EXEMPTED FROM THE SCHEME. I ALSO AGREE 2 Mr SUNIL DUTT AGARWAL's VIEWS, LADIES SHOULD NOT BE EXEMPTED. OTHERWISE THE WHOLE IDEA WILL BE LOST. IT IS BECAUSE RAJNATH SINGH MENTIONED IN THE MTG WITH AK/AAP, THAT LADIES SHOULD BE EXEMPTED FROM THIS DRIVE, KNOWING VERY WELL THAT IN THIS WAY TH GOAL OF BRINGING DOWN POLLUTION LEVEL CANNOT B ACHIEVED. Implementing odd-even car no formula only for 12 hours (from 8AM to 8PM) is a huge relief to those who are in private jobs because normally they leave office between 6.30-7.30 PM in the evening. In view of this exemption, Govt must include TWO-WHEELERS also un der the scheme. People may make half an hour adjustment to avoid 8AM-8PM timings, that too on alternate days only. more
