MP/MLA should not accept any unaccounted donation for elections; they should not accept sponsorship from any agents- they should not be seen even travelling in private vehicles owned by others- leave alone accepting sponsorship for foreign visits
They should not accept hospitality of business men and private entrepreneurs in any form for stay or transport inside or outside the country
Corrupt politicians are the root cause of all our problems
In addition any one who wants to stand for an election should prove their competency in front of an august body of educated persons regarding their vision for the country- they have to release a written -confidential -action plan (if they are elected) on that day -and they have to defend it in front of that body and it should be viewed/witnessed by people as well more

Until and unless people STOP paying bribes (they pay because many of us are doing wrong) .... and start doing the duty with responsbility (example driving in wrong side, without helmet etc) all these activities of public encourage public servant to ask for bribe and public is forced to give. First of all stop doing wrong things and stop paying bribe. more
