Even govt departments do not follow . APCO fabcrics, A govt owned department in Andhrapradesh charge GST on discounted MRP. They give bill too.It can be verified in all outlets or at least in Rajahmundry, Andhrapradesh. more

Pl check to-days Ludhiana Bhaskar as Consumer Forum Ludhiana, imposed a penalty of Rs 4000/- for charging Rs 76/- as GST over and above discounted MRP . Be vigilant. more

While the Consumer Forum have been adjudicating on the matter , we wish that Department of Consumer Affairs may issue notification in the matter. Alternatively filing a class action suit could be another route. For class action suit I needed cooperation of members in sharing a common type of complaint which unfortunately I could not get from the members. I still feel some more examples of such complaints may need publicity so that issue spread like virus. more

Am not able to understand why Mr.S.Mohan had to buy Pickle(Thokku) from a Sweet Shop...also A2B (as Adyar Ananda Bhawan is known in short) is an exclusively traditional Tamil Nadu Sweets outlet. It needs to be checked as to whether they have permission to do Retailing of packed/loose items of groceries as well. more
