MSME sector needs long term support from the Government to stay afloat post COVID19 period.
Government should draw a plan to bail out MSME out of the situation created due to COVID19 Pandemic strike as because this sector provides highest number of employment. It may be long term low interest loan or otherwise Government may consider the idea of returning some percentage of income tax one MSME promoter paid to the Government in last 10 years. If Government can write off the loans of wilful defaulters then Government should think seriously about the MSME sector.

Vitalising the MSME sector should be the highest priority.Doling out cash may be sentimentally appealing, but have its perils also. Therefore, providing jobs with income necessary for a decent life - should be the basis for socio-economic uplifting programs. Cash distribution should be only to those who cannot do any job due to physical/mental handicaps. more

Since inception all the MSME sector only gives government revenue in shape of many headings but now in this hour of difficulty when they are helping everyone then why we people are not eligible for same? Yes, as per reports it is on cards in very near future. Let us see what happens. more

MSME was already in a poor shape due to the general growth reduction of earlier years, effects of demonetization and pin-pricks of GST regulation when the Covid-19 delivered the final fatal hit to the entire industry, global and Indian economy. MSME units are in real bad shape and need urgent oxygen therapy and not the usual lip service like three month interest moratorium and probable interest rate reduction which the Bank never pass it on to MSME. more
