Mumbai Suburban Trains
Instead of changing the configuration of the bogies of suburban trains, Railways can think of introducing Double Decker trains in Mumbai to take care of the traffic of passengers.
This will save accidents due to falling off from the train as well as people who climb the rooftops and travel can save their lift and their families would benefit.

Transportation is critical to a city's success as an entity.What if Mumbai has reached saturation point?It is a linear city and local train the only viable transport.Diversify transport options.I remember in the 70s hovercraft would run between Uran and Gateway.Why not introduce water transport-ferries etc.Kerala is working on increasing water transport.Kochi has water transport-ferries.We do need to diversify.Have safe and reliable water transport.Regulation will be key,as in Kerala.But somewhere along the way,we have to rethink our cities. more
