Municipality for Noida
Everyone please vote so Noida gets a new municipality. Surprised that 40% people think that we are better off with noida authority doing municipal function and all the dumping of waste..

Dear Bhatia Ji until child cry mother will not feed him likewise until we the citizens effort to make wrong to right the political representatives will not do anything. If they would have done anything to change wrong system there would be no such hue and cry against wrong things happening like corruption in police, authorities, encroachment on government areas, on roads, in commercial markets like in Sector 10, 9, 8, 7, 6 and in all parking areas there is garbage scattered everywhere, traffic jams due to defective traffic light etc. If public join together with honest and dedicated representatives they should meet CM UP and PM then things can change because this is the right time when both our PM & CM are honest and ready to support initiatives to do good for public and city then we can get relief from above bad things in the Noida City and City will develop and citizens can enjoy livings here. more

If we think municipality shall be burden, let us take collective steps to make Noida Authority public serving. Dr Mahesh Sharma before being elected MLA earlier had promised that he will ensure public representation in Noida. Now even as MP & Cabinet minister and BJP govts in UP & Centre, no steps have been taken. more

Mr Bhatia, Your comments that Mr Mahesh Sharma after becoming MP & minister has not kept up his promise itself proves that how reliable are elected representatives. It is sad but true that about 75% of money collected by municipalities are swindled by elected councilors and staff. Most of the staff do not do their duty. they come and mark their attendance and go to their private business because majority of them are relatives or agents of councilors. Let us forget about elected municipality which will be cancer to the residents. Encroachments and unauthorised constructions will increase as in Delhi and mumbai. more

I feel elected Municipality is not required because majority of municipal councilors in all municipalities in India are highly corrupt and they swindle money. We will be burdened with heavy house tax for the benefit of corrupt councilors and municipal staff. Can the people who favour formation of municipality in NOIDA cite the name of one municipality in whole of India and particularly in north India which is providing satisfactory municipal service in their area and which is not den of heavy corruption? more

I an still oppose formation of municipality for Noida, municipality is the name of a most corrupt body in India house tax will be liable in Noida, parking rates will go high one more body will be added in Noida to loot citizens of Noida rather than helping them they will ask money for everything there will be one more battle field for fighting while conducting elections. Instead we should have one common strong RWA other than individual RWA of each Noida sectors. This common RWA should be formed by the two representatives from each sector's RWAs and it should be authorized RWA by the UP government and should have power to intervene and discuss in any administrative decisions of the authority and police and have power to get work done from the authority and police for the welfare of Noida city and its citizens. I feel this way without municipality we can get done better work in Noida and can make Noida a smart city of no crime, no encroachment, no heap of garbage, no corruption, no unauthorized construction only development everywhere. more

Noida Authority is most corrupt working answerable to none. Noida MP & MLA are not bothered and they are pursuing their own interests. Still we think that elected municipality is not required. Urban Villages in Noida/Encroachment/Sanitation/Traffic/Parking are the main issues. more

If we get the Municipal body in Noida, it would be worst than the existing system and level of corruption will also increase. We should rather try to make the existing system more effective. It may be by creating a separate vertical in Noida Authority Administration which exclusively look after the Health and cleanliness. We can also explore to inducting the local MLA in their Governing body. more
