Yes they do it. But our common suspicion is they do it out of fear or survival. This we know is not exactly correct but the fact that even some highly educated and well placed among them give in to the blind faith of 'gaining a place in Jannat by annihilating the Kafirs' makes us wonder about their sincerity. It is also true that if it was not their love for this nation we would not be successful in apprehending and breaking up terrorists back . Let us not forget that that about 47 sects of Islam , the most in the world , thrive in India. That shows that Bharatiye Muslim is not amenable to be entirely bound by the dictates of the Wahhabi Islam of the Arabs. They are thinkers and can break away from the cultist dictates of the rabidly radical maulvis. World's most respected and recognised institutes of Islamic learning exist in our land. Our Muslims can eventually take the lead in making Islam the faith which lives in harmony with entire human race. They must endeavour and give up their social ways that just not go with the culture and need of the times. more

Shia's have been traditional BJP voters, particularly after Kalyan Singh as UP Chief Minister enabled them to mourn Muhharam in Lucknow after 20 years. Similarly a large section of Sunni Muslims, at least in Lucknow are BJP voters. Awareness of inclusiveness in Modis programs and education is slowly reducing their dependence on religious leaders and exploiters as vote bank. Time BJP leaders adopt correct language for political inclusiveness. more
