During Deepawali we went to the 'factory outlets' near Hosur. A set of sparklers was carrying a MRP tag of INR 8000/- but when u take it to counter he will apply a 95% discount! And when u bring it home, it will not even burn let alone giving sparkles! But we keep falling prey to this cheap gimmick. I would rather go to a shop WYSIWYG. These platforms have a very limited life. During Covid I ordered N95 masks from a decent looking supplier and he charged me 600/- for promised three and supplied one mask which should have cost him less than 5/- to make. Amazon just behaved as if such a transaction did not happen at all! more

that is the tactics done by all e commerce sites as well as shops also saying that they are giving 80//90% off .Does it make business sense by giving so much discount and make profit unless they are taking customers for a ride and customers fall for it.Govt should make a law on this to put a reasonably priced one with some real discount and in that way people will not be taken for a ride. more
