N-95 and KN 95 mask is what should be used

Latest Lab study attached showing N95 & KN95 offer best filtration, surgical masks are middling, cloth & bandana by themselves not so good. Doubling up surgical masks or cloth over surgical greatly improves filtration. U-shaped curves because ~300 nm (0.3 μm) is the hardest size to remove.

This means what ACGIH data attached shared by LocalCircles a few weeks ago holds true. Everyone must pay attention. A lot more can be done in terms of activity opening with protection. more

There is no need for wearing surgical mask for general public as long as they wear the mask properly when out in public places. Avoid crowded and confined places more

Will inhalation resistance reduce air uptake to the wearer of the Mask. Particularly, the washed cloth masks are supposed to develope. more
