Name Change in old account - Employer Office close
Dear All. My previous employer is under court case and office is sealed by court notice and PF office. No one is there to sign document for minor change in name as per KYC documents. Kindly advise how to correct name so that I can submit transfer claim with EPF. more

Dear Kuldip, From your detail understand that your previous office is closed so that you are unable to claim or transfer your PF amount. If you have the copy of the court notice then you can draft a letter to the EPFO office stating that your name has to be changed with your proof for correct name.(like school/college certificate/with aadhaar card/or driving lic.copy) visit the EPFO office and submit the letter for change of name. Also visit the group number in pf office where in your account was maintained. Thanks G.Kumar more

Dear, Now no need to apply for Transfer you just have update your UAN and KYC in the portal get it approved by the your current employer your previous balance will get transferred by system Ashok b more
