I do pranayama and yoga asanas daily very early in the morning before going for a morning walk. I believe it helps the body and the mind. In my case, I could avoid certain medicines completely and reduce the dosage of certain other medicines. more  
Pranayama and asanas shall be done preferably in empty stomach or about five hours after last meal. So, I prefer them early in the morning. Morning walk can be done before or after pranayama, as per your convenience. Thanks and Regards. enjoy good health. more
