National Education Policy

Few years back I remember participating in your survey LocalCircles where we had demanded that school education be reformed through National Education Policy.

Can some of the experts in circle please share what has been included in the final NEP 2020. I know CBSE curriculum is being reformed. What more. And is there anything in NEP that doesnt make sense? more

The valuation should be as follows. Academic - 25%, Skills - 25%, Sports - 25%, Extra curricular activity - 25%. more
The thing that doesnt make sense about NEP is for a child to complete 6 yrs by June 1st to be in 1st std. I hope this rule will be applied only for children getting admitted to LKG from year 2023 and not before 2023. If so many children who are 1 or 2 month lesser than 6 years will be impacted. more
Written policy has no meaning unless it is implemented properly. more
NEP 2020: Many new initiatives have been taken in making school education a solid foundation not only in strengthening higher education but also to make it moere flexible in terms of pedagogy and the modern needs of the society. Though there is one line to provide half heartedly financial assistance to the tune of 6% of the GDP that has not seen the light any where, at the level of the Centre or the States. The Policy can hardly be effective and implmentable . It is feared that the NEP 2020 will go the way the previous two National Policies of Education have met the fate mainly due to administrative initiatives and financial implications.. more
National Education Policy = 1) How this Universe is Created & the Purpose of Creating this Universe. 2) How the Evolution Theory is designed in Nature's Law. 3) What is the Real Intention of Our Life ( 100 Years ) more
