Naxalism in India - Inputs on Issues

Dear Friends:

Just over the weekend, we saw the sad news of 7 STF policemen being killed and another 11 injured due to Naxal attacks.

With this post, we would like you to share inputs on the Root Causes that are leading to increased Naxalism in India.

Once we understand them, we will have a separate discussion to brainstorm solutions. The objective would be to present a whitepaper to PMO, Home Minister and Naxal affected state CMs so key actions can be taken to better tackle Naxalism at its core.

Do contribute your bit!

Two & half years back they took at large 19 political & police lives in Orissa/Bihar . Now , they openly threatened through Wall Posters that they will take revenge on A.P. Police and Politicians since a big group of Naxals were retaliated countering the fire opened by Naxals while the police reached the place where a Police also was dead and some injured . The Governments in the last 6 & 1/2 decades could not address the rule in the Scheduled Areas carrying the Constitutional Provisions . Naxals and all Aggressive Troops and Teams those challenge the Constitutional Procedure or authorities are to be taught fit while the whole areas of undeveloped and wrecked Districts are to be addressed with Post & Panchayats , Girijan Corporations with the support and Safety of Reserved Police Force Posts in all residential Places to treat the people with the benefits of India Constitution . more

The Sikh Terrorist issue , leading to partial destruction of the Golden Temple and assassination of Mrs. I.G. , are all the dirty work of the Cons-gress malgovernance . So too are the Naxal and Maoist activities, all over India. The BJP govt. cannot be blamed for any of these political problems.Political problems require political solutions. The BJP govt. must treat the matter seriously through the NIA, as foreign funds are involved . States are using the Police to quell these activities but with huge liabilities to the CRPF as well. Call for a meaningful dialogue so that International Terrorists do not combine their forces with such rebellious groups created by the filthy rich political classes of India viz. Cong(I) and CPI . more
I am what I was before but burdened with additional costs. Modiji wanted mandate and people have obliged. Let us not recount the shortcomings to hide the failures. Good days have not come is the truth whatever one may cry. The ship has one captain with sailors confused. This is the country of Haves and not Have Nots. I recently travelled North East by Rajdhani. Horrible experience. People of the country are defrauded with higher fare in the name of improved services and better food. more
The main cause for spread of Naxalism is the perception that "nobody is bothered about us and interested in solving our problems". To erase this perception concrete actions for solving the problems have to be there. But this is not enough. The people have to be told that "we are doing these things to solve their problems". Action and result orientation is the only remedy. Demonstrate to the people what the government is doing to solve their problems and involve them in it. Ask for their suggestions and discuss with them their problems openly. It is important that they understand it as their own solution and "not one imposed by somebody in power". more
