Neat & Clean Platforms

Railway platforms should be kept as clean as airports. This can only be achieved by allowing only those passengers to enter the platform who have valid tickets of the train expected to depart in the next one hour. People come there as per their convenience and make the whole platform as their SARAI/DHARAMSHALA. One can see many beggars & rag pickers loitering on the platforms, causing security threat to passengers. This should be stopped and it's not very difficult to stop such practices. It will not only reduce the pressure on the platforms but will also contribute towards security & cleanliness of the platforms. more

Their are so many rules railways are imposing, one more can be added by restricting people outside the platform... A lot can be improved. more
Whenever, I see somebody littering, I immediately inform him and politely request him to dispose off the same in a nearby dustbin. If they comply I thank them, but if they don't, I pick it up and dispose it. At least it embarrasses the person, I do this with a hope that he will take a clue and not litter in future. If all of us sit tight and hope that the Railways or the Government will do something about this, then it is wrong, as this could take months or even years. WE NEED TO MAKE A CHANGE, IF THE GENERAL PUBLIC DECIDES TO ACT, NOBODY CAN STOP THEM. Take a clue guys and do something, don't bother if it seems too small. JUST DO IT. more
As an educated and responsible citizen we are doing our bit but it needs something more to get the required results which is not in our hands. There, we need the policy makers of railway to bring some rules and regulations and their strict implementation. more
A Public hai sab jante hai. We can develop as a each individual but difficult to make others improved to that extent . more
I am fully agree with Kishore. As a citizen we are not performing, we are expecting every thing govt should do. what is our responsibility as a citizen of country. more
