Need to advice protesting T Nadu farmers in Delhi
I wish that someone should advice the Tamil Nadu farmers protesting in Delhi to return back to Tamil Nadu , as thier method of protest which include fully undressing themselves in public is not helping their cause.
While anyone is entitled to protest in a democracy, there has to be a decorum.
While there is lot of sympathy for the farmers in Tamil Nadu who suffer due to failure of monsoon and lack of water for irrigation, tangible solutions have to be found by discussions and better understanding of the ground realities, keeping in view the overall financial constraints for the central government, which need to meet the requirement of several states and union territories. The Finance Minister has met the farmers and he has given certain assurances.
It is very necessary not to give an impression that the movement of farmers have become political in character and style, with the politicians and actors who desire to enter politics rushing to Delhi, taking photographs with the protesting farmers, appearing and speaking before camera and then returning to their place, leaving the farmers all to themselves.
Farmers protest carried out with dignity that they are known for will fetch better, positive and quicker results .

Yah! An idle mind is a devil's ....So State and Central Govts. should find ways and means to keep the agriculturists busy by providing knowledge to increase their income in such periods! more

Mr Kamaraj chose a very capable cabinet some of whom later served as union ministers with distinction and occupied constitutional positions (like President R Venkatraman and Gov. C. Subramanaiam). Neither Mr Kamaraj nor these ministers tried to enrich themselves/their families at the expense of the government exchequer and by corrupt practices as is being done by scum from Dravidian parties (too many examples to quote). With such leaders, Tamil nadu has nowhere to go except downhill. more
