New Building Bye-laws without consultation
The distance between buildings in Noida and Greater Noida has been reduced from 16 metres to 9 metres in the new building bye-laws. To me it will not only restrict flow of sun light it will feel more suffocated in the flats now. Also, wondering how this will impact in case of a god-forbid disaster situation.
Can we please request the authorities in noida/g. noida to conduct general public consultation before such decisions are taken.

It will also mean more population per square feet, means more load on already congested infrastructure. more

Building bylaws? It is the decision of contractor/builder and a member of Administrative Authority. Initial bylaws may have of some sensible decision but thereafter solutions are provided for every illegal construction and objection by affected parties are waved off. It is painful to see that while waving off the objections even the genion objection like blocking of sunlight or cross ventilation or pollution due to generators are also Ignored which are practically affecting both the parties. more

NEFORMA shld take action and lodge a FIR against planning dept. Of noida Auth. Under negligence and देश द्रोह acts of Indian penal code for: 1. Reducing open एरिया. 2. Bad planning for roads and sewage for such a narrow roads of starting from 7mtr. and idle sewage pipe lines (like one sector 26 got a whole pipe line system changed). Why it has been changed just in 25—30 years? 3. Why MP–2 रोड has been narrowed, whereas it shld be broaden. 4. Why pollution level is so high & what measures has been taken? 5. Why there is no sufficient transport provided yet in so far years. 6. Why Auth. Is failed in stopping unauthorized constructions near all its major roads, will it not become problematic in future? 7. Why each & every रोड has been dig & not been attended for repair after dig & had it showed repair on accounts? 8. Why are we accepting such a vile works (like रोड repair work done on Nithari रोड opposite. Sector 36)? 9. Why there is no single contractor black listed and amount forfeited for the same रासुका (राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा कानून)? If NEFORMA needs funds for the same(filling case) then it shld present its expected expenditure in news paper or approach noidaites by making an app or join local circle also to share opinions and problems of residents. There are many questions for which authority can't even stand for. They are useless and shld be fired immediately before they occur loss to the city. more

N M Sharma I also agree with MR. Vikram .This minimum distance is it self very low as presently also air flow and sun light is restricted as we are staying in Noida , Further reduction will make living in Noida more difficult. Authority must take public opinion on the issue before doing so. more
