New Cable Billing System is BAD

New Cable Billing is BAD
With the introduction of the new cable billing system every consumer will have to pay excess or more than earlier.

Free Channels So-Called
I have to pay Rs 130 Plus 18% GST for over 400 regional language channels (so-called as FREE) which I do NOT want any.

Channels Selected
Rates of individual channels are very high and the total bill plus 18% GST makes the cable bill very oppressive. more

I would like to add a different Dimension to this Senseless Proposal from TRAI - it is skewed in Favour of Hindi-speaking States, where Customers could see a reduction in monthly Bills - invariably, non-Hindi speaking states will have to shell out much more since they would be interested in three Languages at least - besides, why Tata Sky alone, others like Airtel are cancelling subscribed channels at will & gaining in their profits - Content Providers like STAR & SONY will see a drop in Revenue since there are no takers for many Channels and there seem to be very few takers for their " Packages " more
I think Govt should revert back the scheme. It seems TRAI has not done its home work properly.Pricing for each channels/group of channels is very high. more
Yes, TRAI has not done justice to consumers. Expenses of all the consumers have increased. I have two suggestions: (1) NCF charges of ₹130+GST are too high and should be reduced to ₹ 30+GST and each consumer should be provided 5 DD channels of his / her choice free. (2) Consumer must be free to select channels (FTA/Paid) or packages as he / she likes from the list of packages / channels (mix up of channel/packages allowed) and pay for the channels / packages selected as per the prescribed fee. more
It is downright "cheating, fraud and Thugy" The Tatasky is charging Rs. 153/-, apart from the channels' rates, which makes the total much more than the earlier money we were paying. The Tatasky is expressing its inability to do anything about it. more
I experienced a huge loss with Tata Sky choosing the package, as it has not delivered the channels of choice. It is important to be careful while choosing channels. It may be useful choosing channels of package independently and then 100 free channels. In fact channels are not free, one has to pay rs.130/- + GST + other charges. It is agreed by a large no. of customers, recharge amount can't be less compare to earlier system as TRAI claimed. Now it's TRAI has to intervene and get their claim proved so that customers sufferings become less. more
