Attached. As COVID19 cases inch towards 5000-mark Karnataka govt introduces restrictions. Theatres, pubs, bars, clubs & restaurants not to exceed 50% capacity in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Kalburgi, DK, Udupi, Bidar & Hubballi-Dharwad. Gym, swimming pools to shut down.
Why do pubs bars clubs and restaurants have to operate even with 50%?

Why reduced capacity in theatres, pubs, restaurants? Think of the less fortunate ones who will otherwise will lose their jobs and go hungry. more

Government is left with no option to impose curbs on assembly of persons since people have not heeded to observe the required covid protocols. Youngsters are presently getting more infected due to their casual approach thinking that nothing will happen to them. more

I go out for a morning walk (I am 78) in a park nearby. I see people in 10s and 15s gather in front of darshinis with their masks either in their hands, (most of them with out masks) loudly and hotly discussing the sleaze CD subject. On vegetable shop in 10X12 shop with at least 15 people crowding around. I see a popular super market crowded with shoppers. May be the author is worried about bars and pubs because of her own experience. Government send hundreds of orders but WHO CARES??? more

While the whole country is worried about the extent of damage the Covid 19 virus is doing, one illiterate Kannada Film hero is worried about his movie getting affected because of 50% capacity. Heaven will not fall, if people do not watch movies. As it is all the Government hospitalks are full with not a single bed available. more
