New Railway Rules

I have concerns with railway rules of changing sleep time from 9 pm to 10 pm. When people are travelling with young children or even senior citizens, they need to go to bed early. Why has this not been considered. Why has no poll been done before taking such a decision.

Also earlier Railways was accepting electronic copy of aadhaar. Now railways is saying some m-aadhaar aap must be downloaded to show electronic id.

Is this another way to force some sarkari app on us? why I beg to ask. more

While the existing timing was working satisfactorily for decades, it was quite unnecessary for the railway ministry to make a controversy by changing the timings, probably to divert the attention of the citizens from the ministry's utter failure to bring in any remarkable improvement in the functioning of the prestigious national transport company. Instead of involving itself in petty issues, the railways should sincerely engage itself in upgrading the Indian Rails at par with any international railways at the earliest possible. more
yu may have heard of Thimur, the present set of Ministers are headed by Thimutr, the whimsical king more

THE SLEEPER BERTHS IN A SLEEPER COACH ARE NOT ONLY MEANT FOR SLEEPING BUT ALSO TO SIT . THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE SEE 2 SETS OF THE NUMBERS . CAN’T FORCE ANYONE TO LIE ALL THROUGH THE JOURNEY . THEY NEED TO SIT ALSO BEYOND THE SLEEP HOURS. THAT IS HOW WE SEE ON THE LOWER BERTHS 3 NUMBERS WRITTEN HORIZONTALLY, SAY 1 ,2,3, … 6 . 1 ……………………………………… 2 ……………………………………………………….. 3 THAT IS FOR SITTING IN A SLEEPER COACH . NEAR THE SWITCH BOARD WE SEE ANOTHER SET OF NUMBERS VERTICALLY TO INDICATE THE BERTHS L/M/W . 1 L ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… 2 M ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… 3 U …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. THAT IS FOR THE SLEEPING .IF MIDDLE BERTH OR LOWER BERTH PASSENGER SLEEPS BEYOND THE STIPULATE TIME WHERE CAN THE OTHER BERTH OCCUPANTS SIT DURING WAKEFUL TIME . WE HUMAN BEINGS HAVE A GENERAL SLEEP - WAKEFUL CYCLE / TIME , WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SHIFT WORKERS. THERE SHOULD BE EQUAL JUSTIFICATION FOR EVERY TRAVELING PASSENGER FOR THE MONEY THAT HE /SHE PAYS. ALL THE BERTHS COST THE SAME FARE WHETHER L/M/U . SO THE L.B. OCCUPANT SHOULDN'T TAKE UNDUE ADVANTAGE AND SHOULD ALLOW THE CO PASSENGER TO ENJOY HIS/HER EQUAL PREVILEGES ALSO. more
In spite of a clear judgement against Aadhaar being mandatory, one after another of all sorts of Govt. organizations are harassing the common people in the name of Aadhaar linkage, right from one's birth till after one's death involving clear instances of 'Contempt of the apex court'. more
The births are allotted to sleep but the time usually say from10 p.m. to 6 A.m. but it's the mutual understanding between the passengers to decide time for sleep.
The Aadhar Card in train should not be made mandatory but photo identity with Date of Birth should be asked. more
Who can ask railway? Even for wait listed passenger railway collect the birth charge what for? The passenger who have confirmed ticket as well as who is not confirmed has to pay same amount. So, railway can make any rules, hence no one can have write to ask them.

After all the New Railways Minister is energetic, when he can get up at 5;30 A.M. and start working why should people sleep till 10:00 A.M. while travelling? When there is so much hulla-bulla on Swachch Abhiyan - can't we have the Ministers and local district officers to come and sleep the railway platforms for a change instead of sweeping an already clean 5' x 2' area for media coverage? Instead we see Eureka Forbes in the news clip being roped in...no doubt they will merrily sell a 1000 pcs of their Vacum Cleaners...all stations have vacum cleaners which are only used to clean the station master and other office areas...atleast in big junctions the bogies could also be cleaned inside. more
