New refund rule 12th Nov. 2015 is very bad.
You might be aware about 'revise new refund rule 12th Nov. 2015'. This refund rule is anti-common man. Railway did not kept any space to breath common man. The cancellation charges straight way becomes double. What is logic? just to earn money from common man's pocket by illegal way & without doing nothing. Second point is shortening time slab for cancellation. Confirm ticket should cancel 04 hours before departure time of train, later on you will not get any refund, means railway will eat out all your 100% hard earn money.
For wait list ticket refund permissible time slab is 30 minutes before actual departure of train. After that there will be no refund. This is very ridiculous absurd rule & much contradictory to railway's own regulation. Please read how contradictory is this-
After chart prepared, if someone's ticket remains wait list, railway says there is still one last chance. The passenger should try to go platform, once train arrives, he should check seat/berth availability with bogie conductor. If any vacant seat/berth is available then bogie conductor can allot it to wait list ticket holder. Now if suppose one such wait list ticket holder wish to avail this last chance, then he will not cancel his ticket and wait till train arrives. If vacant berth got available from bogie conductor & then all is well, if suppose berth not available then this wait list passenger can not board the train. And now he also missed the time for cancellation of his wait list ticket (which is 30 minutes before departure time of train), and now he can not get any refund also. He has no options left, but to surrender his 100% amount hard earned money to railway and nothing in return. Railway is looting common man by this way. We all passenger must fight out with railway and put a legal case on railway so that this new 'refund rule' get demolish.
Please circulate my message and have your views on this new refund rule. I am very soon going to court and will make legal case on railways.
Thanks.
