I think the Govt has listened to our demands and made quarantine mandatory but it is at home only. LC should do a survey on whether home quarantine is effective.
What is everyone’s experience in the circle? Are people following discipline? more
Home quarantine is very effective as the caregivers are family members who take every precaution to ensure that patient recovers soon and they do not get infected. It is cost effective and comfortable for patient and family. more
Radha Puri, Do you have any idea when you put these thoughts together for rules and regulations? Think of a working person who is coming home to India or a grandmother who is flying back to India after seeing a grad baby. Put yourself in those shoes. You people sit at home and do not think of that person or those people. Suggesting something crazy like institutional quarantine is not just harsh it is very difficult for many of those people. Some have been traveling to get home for two days. Let them be home. give them guidelines and stop making this hard for the travelers. Also mandates cost tax payers money and drain on the economy. You are NOT communist China to think this way. You are making India a great country but you can't get those restrictive thinking out of your head. more
Home quarantine is better as who will foot the bill for stay in a camp. Why the tax payers money be wasted to protect those who flout guidelines. Let such rogues die which will help the Govt. in reducing ever increasing population. India is not under populated and too much importance should be given to save those willing opt for getting infected with any deadly disease. Even the compensation on death out of tax payers money is not a good idea. more
