One may or may not have had a situation compelling to bribe any one directly but looking to the present condition of the country, sudden upstart of people in public offices and those made politics their profession, open loot of public treasure by the heads of the government(s), politicians' involvement in various economical scandals, poor quality of public works all over the country, are few of the instances/areas where corruptions are rampant and are open. However, basically we are wrong to think that only the bribe takers and the politicians are corrupt. Corruption in the country has sprouted in every walk of our life & society since independence. Just look at the traders & business community irrespective of their size & status, those doing their business on hand carts and so on. Every one has his own means to dupe their customers to earn some extra illegally, which may be in the form of quality, quantity, inflating prices and duping the govt. taxes recovered from the customers and so on and so forth. more

Rulers of last 68 years have achieved a standard in which difference between corruption and no corruption have been removed. People at this stage feel proud telling lies for that sake let it be home Administration or Govt administration. The fun is that corrupt politicians matured over the last 68 years are bold enough to ask the of 4 years that corruption is not controlled. more

While your suggestion is laudable, your example is based on unfounded allegations, which even those people, who are making the allegations or their co-hearts do not wish to pursue to it's logical conclusions. An average citizen presumes that shares are purchased either on public platforms (NSE or BSE) or if by private placements after due diligence by the purchaser. Any doubtful transactions are supposed to be reported to SEBI. If SEBI is indulgent in fraudulent transaction and whatever is the difference in market (stock exchange listed rate) value and the realised rate (it is perhaps not 1000 times as exaggerated as in your message, the difference being around 40 crores as alleged), good Samaritans like you should file a PIL in appropriate court at least seeking investigation. I may caution that the petitioner may be fined if he doesn't have prima-facile evidence. A prudent citizen should avoid getting entangled in political slugfests and not convert these valuable forums into platforms for such purposes. Let the person alleging it seek remedy as he is after all a public figure. more
