No Confidence Motion
The No Confidence Motion today will be something that can be used to their advantage by the NDA alliance. The opposition party is not only wasting tax payer money and parliament time, it will be egg on their face once they only get less than 150 votes votes today. How No Confidence Motion works?
A no-confidence motion can be moved by any member of the House. It can be moved only in the Lok Sabha and not Rajya Sabha. Rule 198 of the Rules of Procedure and conduct of Lok Sabha specifies the procedure for moving a no-confidence motion. The member has to give a written notice of the motion before 10 am which will be read out by the Speaker in the House. A minimum of 50 members have to accept the motion and accordingly, the Speaker will announce the date for discussion for the motion. The allotted date has to be within 10 days from the day the motion is accepted. Otherwise, the motion fails and the member who moved the motion will be informed about it.
If the government is not able to prove its majority in the House, then the government of the day has to resign. more

Agree in toto. The opposition strategy seems to be NOT allow any useful work bring to be done by the Parliament. The number of bills which need to be discussed and passed will pile up and the opposition will try to put the blame on NDA. Waste of Tax payers seems to be the opposition's only goal they have. more

It was a miscalculation by CM of AP and congress went piggy back for its selfish ends .They both knew that it will not succeed but the former wants to get sympathy of India and the latter wants fall of govt by luck! They should introspect now .The present govt is very popular with multiple achievements which the others could not have done even if they form the next govt. Instead of grumbling , AP should lower its rhetoric and some MPs uncouth gestures in parliament must not be allowed to be repeated . Mending fences ,repproachment with center , cooperate , do not play in to the hands of opportunists in their state is a good and sane advise now. The state will prosper if there is peace and concentrate on governance. The congress has no prospects ,the parties must watch on whom they are latching ! more
