No helmet no petrol rule
is a very good idea district administration but like most initiatives, this will fail in enforcement unless there are heavy heavy fines on petrol pumps for violating. They have cctvs. Your consumer or legal metrology officer should do a weekly visit and check the cctv recordings. Otherwise this is just announcement and bound to fail. more

It is another attempt to shift responsibility of Administration on helpless petrol pump owners. Why can't they post a traffic team at the petrol pump & fine people without helmet. more

Every good initiative fails due to lack of its enforcement. Let the Noida authority issue guidelines on how the petrol pump owners will be penalized if petrol is issued to those not wearing the helmets. Also can the list of defaulting owners be displayed on Noida Authority website indicating penalties imposed. more

Great idea but unfortunately our esteem riders are equally great. They carry helmets in their arms. Put them on when likely to be confronted by enforcing agency. more

Agree, we seem to blame authorities, providers (in this case petrol pumps) and not the bike riders who are actually not following the law and putting themselves to risk more

Agree with enforcement, without it, laws don't mean much where frequent, random spot checks will do - checking cctv recordings may not scale. Protection to petrol pumps should also be provided on immediately, when required more
