No online withdrawal even after 19 days: KYC done
I wanted to online withdraw my EPF . I have all my KYC approved including Aadhar, Bank Account and PAN . I have an active UAN. Logged into the new EPFO site https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. Made an online Form 19 request and the status is showing "Under Process" from past 19 days. EPF Department claims that all KYC approved EPF withdrawal requests would be resolved within only 5 days now. However it seems to be only on paper. Reality is very different. I have raised a grievance also online however 1 week post that still there is no response. Raised it on twitter with @socialepfo, @labourministry, no response. Though I was happy with the digitization of EPFO and ease of use for the end user, however, the claims of final settlement time etc. seems to be very off target. Don't know how much time will they take . Lot of things still require a lot of improvement. more

Latest update of this is that yesterday I send them the email and today it shows the online claim is rejected. I have asked them the reason for rejection as there is no reason specified for the claim rejection. Seriously so much pain to get your OWN money from your OWN EPF account. Why don,t these guys privatise the EPF department seriously. It is still living in Stone Ages. There is no proper Customer Care Department. That is a basic thing that is required to handle such volume of cases. more
