I am with Shri Asha Ram Ji on use of multiple use of ACs, we have to minimize use of ACs at least to prevent heating of environment. more
First of all why such problems are being faced in current days when our present government ensured No Shortage of Electricity and got it declared by Central Electricity Authority. The distribution companies although are in the hands of private companies but not to provide safe and continuous supply of Quality Electricity with higher service efficiency but to ensure high revenue collection with higher profitability to share with owners who in turn oblige our great politicians and officials. In current days BRPL prefers to install equipment and systems with outdated technology and therefore, these instances are frequently happening in Delhi. Systems improvement for higher reliability is being ignored but higher investments are being managed. In the absence of Moral standards of the managing people, administrative authorities and political leaders such instances will continue in our country that too with liability of higher tariff. Lowest tariff in the country is Rs.3 per unit for residential needs as against all India average cost of generation around Rs.2.60 per unit and at the same time all commercial consumers are being charges Rs.7 per unit or higher. Wasteful happenings are being appreciated in our country and No Change is likely to take place in near future. more
Too sad with no power whole night n the service provider must ensure timely action to restore it. This shows total apathy n lack of accountability of the HODs. However such long hours breakdowns may be caused by transformer failures due to overloading the system. But what is the limit of no. of ACs being installed in the houses of rich n politicians ? I was stunned to know when the AC service man told me there are 30 odd ACs in many big houses in Delhi. May be they pay for it but manipulations also cannot be ruled out. Can we really meet such unlimited high demand ? Well we can imagine the power consumption at one end and the amount of heat generated by these machines round the clock thus impacting climate change. Are we not responsible for the looming devastation ? On Sat 29 Jun, 2019, 10:01 AM Shikha Chhabra, wrote: > more
